Topic: Main Sales Blog| No Comments »OK - just when is the Automotive Industry going to say enough is enough and re-tool? What price per gallon will the American Public be willing to pay before the automotive industry re-designs the way our vehicles are powered? I imagine it would take a major investment - in retooling factories - but the “lack-of-buyer” blues - must be pushing us closer. The use of Ethanol fuel - the bio-fuel alternative to gasoline, is being blended in and has helped keep prices lower. Imagine if we didn’t have it? Electric cars? I wouldn’t mind plugging my car into the electric outlet every night for a recharge!
Then there was talk - a few years back – of Hydrogen fueled cars - Hydrogen can be (they say) produced from water through electrolysis. The neat thing is that the production of hydrogen would have no carbon dioxide emissions.
Cost drives everything - so the real question is - what will the cost of gasoline have to rise to before the auto industry -scraps fossil fuels and becomes independent?
